‘A Life in Sail and Steam’ St Anne’s College, Oxford
Program :
Saturday May 20th ONS2017 ‘A Life in Sail and Steam’ St Anne’s College, Oxford.
09.15 to 17.30 9/10 papers exploring resonant themes of life at sea from sail to the
passing of steam. There will be a tribute to the late Alan Villiers, Master in Square Rig,
marking the unveiling of his Blue Plaque in Oxford, recording this ‘Life in Sail’. A
special display and paper by the HMS Unicorn Society are just a few of the highlights.
Coffee, Lunch, wines and tea/coffee included. Ticket price £44 or half day £15 to include
either coffee am or tea pm.
