El yate Alfredo: Había sido un buque mambí adquirido por la junta revolucionaria de Nueva York en la casa Seabury, Morris Hill. En el contexto de la reunión denominada como la Asamblea del Cerro, el grupo compuesto por Mario García Menocal, Rafael de Cárdenas y Emilio Núñez, pidió les fuera confiado a ellos la custodia de este yate.
