Liebe Freunde,
Vielen Dank
Theodor Dorgeist

Hello Theo!
This question was partially discussed here:
http://fow.aplus.pl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=308
http://fow.aplus.pl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1153
However, not a lot was resolved
All ex-MFP vessels were used by Polish Navy (not civilian boards).
First two were commissioned in 1951/52, and primarily named BD-8 and BD-9, in 1953 it was changed to BDD-1 and BDD-2 (there was no BDD-8 and 9!)
BBD-3 to 7 were commissioned 18.07.1953
BDD was changed to ODD in 1956
ODD-1 and 2 were deleted 28.12.1957
ODD-3 was given pennant number 861 in 1960, and deleted 01.12.1962
ODD-5 to 7 were given pennant numbers 863-865 in 1960, and deleted 24.09.1963
There was also BDD-4/ODD-4/862, of Italian MZ type.
BDD - Barka desantowa, duża (Landing Barge, Big)
ODD - Okręt desantowy, duży (Landing Ship, Big)
If I'm wrong in anything, I believe somebody here will correct me
