"A Letter was read from Commadore Harris at Jamaica. Resolved that he be empowered to bring home in the Falkland such part of the Mohogony Wood as he hath purchased for the Admiralty Office now building as he cannot dispose of again there without loss." (P.R.O., Adm., 3/35, Admiralty Board Minutes, 2nd March, 1724–5.) "The Navy Board are to be directed to Send to one of the Wharfs near Whitehall the Mahogony Wood now at Deptford which was sent home from Jamaica by the late Commadore Harris that so it may be employ'd in the Buildings of this Office." (Ibid., 3/36, 18th October, 1726.)
