Dodatkowo fragment "Annual Record of Science and Industry for 1874", t. 4, New York 1875, s. cxcvii. Tu z kolei prędkość podana w węzłach. Ciekawe, że w tym przypadku brak informacji o Egipcie.

Nile (النيل) Fletcher and Fearnell, Limehouse Launched 07.06.1834

Built for 800,000 Francs under temporary name Egyptian, reported as the largest steam vessel built in England. Rigged as a three masted barquentine. Total sail area 15339.34 square feet. Pierced for 20 carronades and two large guns, by 1837 she was rearmed with 6 x 42pdr long guns. In September 1840 2 x 84pdr Searing guns were fitted, one fore and one aft. She served occasionally as a Pacha yacht. New engines ordered by Zizinia Bros 9.05.1846 for £14,600
