Yesterday there was a USN oiler or similar with AIS track south of Crete,
but I cannot recall the name.
Greece has sent frigate PSARA today from Piraeus
Germany reported rerouted two frigates and a support ship - one Bremen-class
frigate and Berlin-class supply ship arrived Malta
French frigate TOURVILLE arrived Malta yesterday
Following is my current tally of civilian and other ships being used in
evacuation. Updates and corrections welcome.
TURKEY
ORHAN GAZI-1 - already completed one round trip Benghazi/Marmaris
OSMAN GAZI-1 - already completed one round trip Benghazi/Marmaris
ISKENDERUN - Navy ferry - sailed Benghazi 24/2
SAMSUN - sailed Istanbul 22/2 for Libya
ANKARA - sailed Istanbul 23/2 for Tripoli
CHINA
EXPRESS SANTORINI - sailed Volos for Benghazi 23/2
EL VENIZELOS - sailed Piraeus 23/2 for Souda and Benghazi
HELLENIC SPIRIT - already completed one round trip Benghazi/Heraklion,
returning
OLYMPIC CHAMPION - already completed one round trip Benghazi/Heraklion,
returning
CRUISE ROMA - sailed Benghazi, due Malta today (will be floating transit
hotel)
Also reports China used "two cargo ships and several ferryboats operated by
Chinese companies that happened to be in nearby waters".
China reports chartered two further ship standing by in Italy and Greece

MARIA DOLORES - at Tripoli since 23/2 weatherbound (returning via Djerba,
Tunisia?)
SAN GWANN - at Tripoli since 23/2 weatherbound

SCOTIA PRINCE passed Suez yesterday for Benghazi, ETA Sunday
